Preserving the carburetors

Finally, all of the parts are washed in distilled water, blown dry, dipped in Ballistol and dried again. Ballistol is a real panacea. It was invented as a lubricant for weapons and one of its advantages is that it doesn't break down and form resin. Instead it is burnt off in the motor without any problems. (Ballistol works exceedingly well for leather care and can even be applied to wounds as a disinfectant.)
